Product Details
This product is synthesized from rice husk and carbon dioxide through a specialized carbonation-precipitation process with surface treatment. It delivers excellent matting efficiency, effectively reducing coating film gloss to meet low-gloss requirements across diverse application scenarios. Featuring uniform gloss, easy dispersibility, and robust chemical stability, it remains non-reactive with other components in coating systems without compromising storage stability or application performance.
This product is widely used in wood coatings, general industrial coatings, coil coatings, gravure inks, and offset inks. Matting silicas are categorized into gel-processed (Type N) and precipitation-processed (Type C) products based on production methods. Manufactured via the precipitation process, it is classified as Type C hydrophilic (Type A) – designated as CA-type silica.
