Bio-based Silica Matting Agent


This product is synthesized from rice husk and carbon dioxide through a specialized carbonation-precipitation process with surface treatment. It delivers excellent matting efficiency, effectively reducing coating film gloss to meet low-gloss requirements across diverse application scenarios. Featuring uniform gloss, easy dispersibility, and robust chemical stability, it remains non-reactive with other components in coating systems without compromising storage stability or application performance.

The product is made from renewable resources such as rice husk and straw using the carbon dioxide acidification process to produce the EV series of bio-based silica (also known as bio-based white carbon black / rice husk silica / rice husk white carbon black).

The product is made from renewable resources such as rice husk and straw using the carbon dioxide acidification process to produce EV series low heat bio-based silica (also known as bio-based white carbon black / rice husk silica / rice husk white carbon black).It is a white, non-toxic, amorphous micro-bead. This product is an important inorganic silicon compound with excellent properties such as low heat generation, porosity, high dispersibility, light weight, good chemical stability, high temperature resistance, non-combustion, and good electrical insulation.
